Accommodation

We can arrange any accommodation in Odessa, Kiev, Simferopol, Sevastopol and possibly some other cities. There is no booking fee. You just pay a flat rate per night upon your arrival; however, some advanced payment is also required or else there is no guarantee that the apartment will be available when you need it. Usually it is enough to pay for one or two days in advance and pay for the rest as you check in. At any event you only pay for your stay, we do not charge you for booking. As for the actual rates, they vary between ˆ40 and ˆ100 depending on many things such as the city (Kiev, the capital, is more expensive than other towns), location and the length of your stay, the size of the apartment and its quality.

All of the apartments are fit with everything you might need such as home appliances and bedclothes not to mention furniture. All have hot running water and a telephone. Most have air-conditioning and cable television, and are usually quite secure that is you can leave your things such as laptops inside — nearly all apartments have an iron door and secure locks, and some have guards at the entrance (concierge).

Maid service is available on demand. If you need anything like laundry, all you have is to ask. (This is not covered by the fees except for cleaning the apartment every other day and changing bedclothes). Actually, as a Russian saying puts it, that you should not be punched in the nose for asking, so please never hesitate to request anything you need. If we cannot do something we can at least advise you how/where to get it; and we just cannot list all of the things we can do here. We are very open-minded and stick to a strict privacy policy, so whatever you need, just ask (but please remember that we reserve the right to simply say ‘sorry, we cannot do that’).

If you have your laptop with you, you can order Internet access in your apartment for an additional fee. It will be a dial-up connection because broadband is not so popular downtown where you will most likely stay (in major cities, there are large networks uptown where there are high rises but downtown has basically two- or three-storied houses and they are still developing the networks; besides, many ISPs who provide broadband lock it to users’ PC hardware (like cell carriers lock telephones to accept only their SIM chips), so dial-up is easier to use). Make sure to have a long telephone cord because the telephone socket may not be in a convenient location for a PC (because the telephone may be wireless).

By the way please also ensure all of your adapters and chargers can fit into wall outlets and check the required voltage. Plugs are different from those used in America and are of the European standard. Please check if you have all the adapters with you. If you forget about the adapters, we can provide you with some. The voltage in Ukraine is 220 V.

You can also order to be taken to the apartment from the airport or another terminus. This is not covered by the apartment fees either.

Please contact us with your requirements if you are interested in renting an apartment in Ukraine. Include dates of your visit please. We can provide you with the street address of the apartment and photos upon request.

As an alternative, you can browse through hotels. However, hotels are generally more expensive and less private than apartments. You cannot cook there, you cannot negotiate a discount for a long stay, in some hotels you cannot have visitors stay overnight, etc. Thus, apartments are a better choice.
