Airport Transfer
When you arrive in a strange city, finding the location you want may be a bit of a task. Plus, some dishonest taxi drivers mai rip you off taking full advantge of the fact that you are a foreigner and have no idea of prices and distances. For example, in Moscow there is a big square with several train stations. Sometimes unsuspecting transit passengers who need to change trains from one station to another are taken half-way around the town by taxi drivers to justify their ridiculous charges. It is not meant to scare you, but this is true. Odessa is particularly bad in this respect. Don’t be an easy catch. Ask us about the appropriate price before coming over and you will see that they will ask twice as much.
Also you might become a target for criminals. Ukraine is pretty safe and crime is low; yet don’t be reckless.
To save time and probably money, and feel safe you can order a transfer from the airport or another transport hub to any location within Ukraine. We will send somebody from our staff to welcome you at the airport and take you wherever you need. This costs ˆ40 plus any fares. If you need a car, it is ˆ10 extra around the town. If you need to go on to another town (usually people who need to go Herson, for example, fly to Odessa and then take a cab to their destination), please refer to the Taxi page of our web site for rates and terms.
Our English-speaking employee may have a badge with your name to facilitate recognizing him (we can exchange photos to make it easier to recognize each other) and can help you with your luggage as well.
